Rich Ertelt Yea, people who don't listen to a lot of Elmore think that. One of the first things I ever learned on guitar was Hawaiian Boogie. I still til this day do Hurts me Too. Completely different licks.
P.r. Behler There, now you are Brian Jones.

Michael Chaney The sound of silence - - can't STAND his whiny, nasal voice. He does have some good songs. Unfortunately, they sound like crap when he sings them. BTW - I'm also convinced that Tom Petty is his illegitimate son - just listen to the similar styles and whine..... 🙂
Nathan Richard I'm seeing him on June 27th! I'd love to hear him play, "Stuck Inside of Mobile with the Memphis Blues Again, Like a Rolling Stone, and The Times They are a-Changin"!
Jack Hankins The Great Bob Dylan! Happy Birthday Bob! I'd like to hear him sing Duquesne Whistle, Pressing On or Ring Them Bells. He's got so many great songs it would be hard to choose just one.
Greg Robinson If I was at the birthday celebration and Bob asked me to make a request, I'd ask for him to sing "Thunder on the Mountain" because it's an amazing song and because it's a relatively recent one and he can sing those without having to trick himself into pretending he can wrap that voice around a melody like "She Belongs To Me" (another great song that he can go ahead and retire from the set). I'd be happy if all his concerts were just material from the Time Out of Mind era onward.
Eliot W. Collins I never cared for Bob Dylan that much. I did like Johnny Winter's version of Highway 61. I'd ask Dylan to play it so I could hear how he does it.
Jeb Mann Hiway 61 Revisited should be required POETRY reading for English Lit classes ..Thanks for the boost and remembering Evie--Robert is happy to be here...What a year for him...
Elaine Green Levitt One More Cup of Coffee, Idiot Wind, Shelter from the Storm, Make you Feel My Love, Senor, Leopard Skin Pill Box Hat, ....Oh, shoot, just sing all of them to me. I Love Bob!
Gayle Karafil The man is a literal institution of master songwriting. One of the very best, ever. Just don't make me listen to him sing them!
Peter Janoff Saw him in concert recently and was pretty disappointed and underwhelmed.I bought a tour t shirt though and that made it all worthwhile.
Gage Taylor That's a hard choice. His voice is a lot different now. I think I would ask him to sing I Remember You. The acoustic version from Masked And Anonymous.
Lisa Gaudiello Shaw I 💙"Tangled Up In Blue"...... one of his new ones! Happy 76th Birthday Bobby! ❤️ya💋
Kevin Fennell Blowin' In The Wind. What a song! Got "The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan" for Christmas when I was 11 years old. That song is still relevant today.
Mental Notes He also I hear called himself Blind Boy Grunt, while Janis Ian called herself Blind Girl Grunt.
Julio Madolora mine would be "Blowin' in the Wind". It never gets old. Happy Bday Mr. Dylan!
Phyllis Silva Desolation Row or Visions of Johanna ! Happy Birthday, thanks for all the music and memories ❤️❤️❤️
Rick Church Even the President of the UUUUnited States sometimes has to stand naked ...
Jim Richardson Lay Lady Lay...The only song I could stand of his super nasal voice...
Rich Weaver I would ask him to sing ONE song I could understand. I'll even wear my microtechs.
John M Donovan Only one? My all-time fave, "Lily, Rosemary, and the Jack of Hearts."
Gloria Desiderio It ain't me babe or times they are A changin I could go on and on I love them all can't pick just one
Dale Warsow Tangled up in blue, one more cup of coffee, and many many more.
Valerie McIntyre Subterranean Homesick Blues. It reminds me of when i use to hang out in Boston.
Mark Harris Hey Bob, Tony Mafia told me that you ripped off all of his 45s back in the day. True??
Diane Bush What an amazing and prolific songwriter! An artist who changed music several times.

: Doyle Dykes. One of fingerpicking's greatest. Doyle Dykes was born 63 years ago on May 23, 1954. Easily one of the greatest living fingerstyle players, Dykes is one of the most exciting acoustic players to ever pick up the guitar. Here he is playing a combination of “Classical Gas” and “25 Or 6 To 4” on 12 string at a National Guitar Museum function at the Museum of Idaho. Happy birthday, Mr. Dykes. https://youtu.be/TivxOAFBKbs
